The quarterfinals of the 2023 LoL World Championship have ended, and we have four teams still standing after many blockbuster games. Initially in the Knockout Stage, there were four LPL teams, three LCK teams, and one LCS team. After four matches, there are three LPL teams and one LCK team remaining: Weibo Gaming, Bilibili Gaming, JD Gaming, and T1.

The first match between Weibo Gaming and NRG was quite one-sided, as the composition NRG prepared in Game 1 didn’t work out. Weibo Gaming won the following two games and swept NRG to reach the semifinals.

On day 2 of the Knockout Stage, Gen.G faced Bilibili Gaming. Although Gen.G was one of the heavy favorites, they gave up the first two games with questionable drafts and decision-making. They managed to take the game to Game 5, but it was Bilibili Gaming who took the match in the end.

The third match was JD Gaming vs. KT Rolster. JD Gaming had reached the Knockout Stage with a clean 3-0 record, while KT Rolster played against difficult opponents throughout the Swiss Stage. Although KT Rolster won Game 1, JD Gaming went on to win the following three games and advanced to the semifinals.

The last match was between T1 and LNG Esports. As LCK’s last hope at Worlds 2023, T1 showcased a dominating performance throughout the games and won 3-0.
