SKT 3-2 ROX: Bengi finally unleashes his Black Flame Dragon

Series Overview

SKT T1 was one game away from losing everything, but the return of Bengi was enough for the two-time world champions to regain enough confidence for a miraculous comeback. Despite all of ROX's solid performances and hidden picks, it was SKT who moved on to their record third Worlds finals.

Central to the series was the Tigers' Miss Fortune support. In Games 2 and 3, SKT failed to provide an answer for ROX's counterpick for Zyra and thus lost botlane heavily. However, banning Miss Fortune and reinstating Bengi was enough to turn the tide. With Bengi's unexpected and magnificent performance on Nidalee, SKT regained enough momentum to enter Game 5 with spirits high, in which Faker and Bengi again worked perfectly together to once more further their heroic legacy.

MVP

Bengi completely flipped the series around by reentering the fray when SKT was at the very brink of defeat. Leading the team with both his in-game performance and his cheerful communication, Bengi took down ROX with his signature strengths: vision control and unparalleled synergy with Faker.
