Dr Disrespect accuses YouTube of not supporting him, calls industry "phony"

Streaming superstar Herschel "Dr Disrespect" Beahm IV moved to YouTube Gaming after a permaban from Twitch. But despite the success he has found on his new streaming platform, Dr Disrespect didn't have kind words for the company in a recent tweet.

Dr Disrespect may have almost 4 million subscribers on YouTube, but Dr Disrespect doesn't feel happy with the streaming platform at all. In the past, he's even considered "unfollowing" the platform on Twitter due to a lack of recognition. Ever since the Two-Time was banned from Twitch without explanation, he has claimed that it's made him a black sheep in the eyes of the streaming industry and this seems to have carried over to his YouTube career.

On May 2, Dr Disrespect decided to lash out at YouTube again. He apparently decided to finally unfollow YouTube on Twitter, saying he didn't want to support a company that doesn't support him.

"Such a phony industry I'm in," he ranted.

Dr Disrespect didn't go into detail about his decision, but other streamers noticed that YouTube has some clear favorites. Despite Dr Disrespect being one of the most popular content creators on the platform, YouTube has never mentioned him on Twitter. Instead, they often tweet about CouRage and TimTheTatman.

Fans urged the Two Time to stream on Facebook Gaming and not put all his eggs in one basket. Others questioned why he doesn't just make his own streaming platform. Dr Disrespect recently created his own video game publishing company, so this wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities.

For now, the Doc is continuing to stream on YouTube despite his disdain for the platform. Dr Disrespect has recently started streaming Fortnite thanks to the game's permanent mode with no building.
