2021 LCK Players of the Year are Khan, Canyon, ShowMaker, Ruler, and Keria

In the 2021 LCK Awards, a player from each role was selected as Players of the Year. The recipients were DWG KIA top laner Kim “Khan” Dong-ha, DWG KIA jungler Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu, DWG KIA mid laner Heo “ShowMaker” Su, Gen.G bot laner Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk, and T1 support Ryu “Keria” Min-seok.

On receiving the Player of the Year award, Khan said “I appreciate the award. Personally, I think Kiin should have received this award. I think I was chosen because I am retiring from competition.”

Canyon, ShowMaker, and Ruler showed their will to receive another Player of the Year award next year. Canyon said “I think I got the award because of my teammates Khan, ShowMaker, Ghost, and BeryL. I will do my best next year to receive the award again. ShowMaker also said “I appreciate the award. I will do my best to get the same award next year.” Ruler said “I will do my best with the new teammates to receive an award again.”

Keria was the only one who said attending the 2021 LCK Awards is meaningful. He said “I appreciate my teammates because League of Legends is a team game. It is very meaningful that I am the only support player who attended LCK Awards.”
