On Dec. 1, DWG KIA hosted a live stream event that revealed their League of Legends roster for 2022. The roster consisted of top laner Noh “Burdol” Tae-yoon, jungler Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu, mid laner Heo “ShowMaker” Su, bot laner Seo “deokdam” dae-gil, and support Kim “Kellin” Hyeong-gyu.

It was previously reported that the former bot lane of Nongshim RedForce, deokdam-Kellin, will be joining DWG KIA’s roster for 2022. The duo is considered one of the strongest bot lanes in the LCK, as they’ve received a lot of praise for their performance throughout the split.

With news about DWG KIA failing to acquire top laner Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon reported recently, the community impatiently waited for who will fill the vacant position. Through the livestream, it was revealed to be Gen.G’s former top laner, Burdol. As a rookie who debuted under T1 Academy in 2020, he moved to Gen.G for 2021 and aided in Gen.G’s success.

Meanwhile, Canyon and ShowMaker are the only two remaining members from their 2021 roster. Considered to be the best mid-jungle duo in the world, the two led DWG KIA to their first Worlds title in 2020, and finished 2nd place at this year’s Worlds.
