[Guide] Best long-range QBZ loadout in Warzone after Season 4 Reloaded patch

Source: Activision

The Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update just dropped on Thursday, and with it came over 40 weapon balance changes that are sure to shake up the meta. While a lot of ARs and SMGs received minor and major nerfs across the board, there were a few lucky weapons that had their power level buffed. The QBZ-83 is one of those weapons. It is one of the only weapons that saw its time to kill improve during yesterday's patch.

Post patch, the QBZ has higher minimum damage, up from 22 to 24, which will make it more effective at longer ranges. They also increased the modifiers for both upper and lower torso shots, which should make this gun punch a little bit harder for precise shooters. While they also reduced the movement speed of this gun slightly, overall the weapon is much more viable after the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded patch.

So while the QBZ is still a beast in short-range, the new version of this gun can also hold its own at longer ranges as well. Here is a gun setup that will take advantage of the QBZ’s new long-range potential in Warzone Season 4.

Best gun attachments for the QBZ in Warzone

This loadout seeks to maximize the QBZ's overall damage and to maximize its range potential as well. When running with this QBZ gun setup, you should be able to take engagements at a wide variety of ranges with confidence.

  • Agency Suppressor
  • 15.5” Task Force barrel
  • Field Agent Grip
  • STANAG 60 Rnd Drum Magazine
  • Axial Arms 3x Optic

Agency Suppressor

The Agency Suppressor is a valuable addition to this weapon setup. It will help you keep a lower profile while you are looking for enemies to pick off with this gun’s new and improved range. Additionally, the suppressor will reduce your recoil slightly, making this gun just a tad easier to handle as well.

Task Force Barrel

The Task Force Barrel offers all sorts of benefits for a long-range QBZ loadout. This barrel at extra damage, extra damage range, and extra bullet velocity, making this gun just all-around better for beaming enemies at long distances. Some folks avoid the task force battle due to the horizontal and vertical recoil penalty, but if you can learn how to live with that, this barrel will make this gun setup much more effective.

Field Agent Grip

The Field Agent Grip will improve your handling by a significant margin by decreasing your horizontal and vertical recoil. Not only will this attachment counteract the negative effects from the Task Force Barrel, it will also just generally make this gun easier to handle and more fun to play with. There is nothing worse than dealing with a large about of horizontal recoil in a ranged fight, and the Field Agent Grip is perfect for mitigating that.

STANAG 60 Rnd Drum Magazine

The extended 60 Rnd Drum Magazine is an absolute must when using this gun at longer ranges. The more bullets you have at your disposal, the easier it is to down an enemy or a group of enemies without having to reload. This mag is particularly good in this loadout, since the Task Force Barrel puts a minor starting ammo penalty that this magazine will counteract.

Axial Arms 3x Optic

You can honestly use whatever optic you enjoy the most. I personally like the Axial Arms 3x Optic because it has the least amount of visual recoil, and I find it is easy to track targets at long range or in the air using this scope. Regardless of your preference, I do recommend a zoomed scope, since this loadout if meant to take advantage of the QBZ’s new long-range potential.
