Infinity Ward quietly added the CX9, otherwise known as the Scorpion, and RAAL LMG to Call of Duty: Warzone with the latest Season 2 patch. Over the past few days, a number of players and content creators have released videos of themselves using the two Modern Warfare weapons in Warzone.

The new guns are not available in Loadout Drops, but you can find them in crates around the map.

The addition of the new weapons from Modern Warfare comes as a surprise to Warzone players since Infinity Ward did not mention the guns in the Season 2 patch notes. As of now, it is unclear if these weapons will remain only as legendary crate drops, or if Infinity Ward has intentions to add them as permanent options for player loadouts.

FPS YouTuber Jackfrags made a useful video on Sunday, in which he showed off gameplay with the CX9 and the RAAL in Warzone. When he found them, both weapons came in Legendary rarities with five attachments.

According to Jackfrags' initial impression, the CX9 is effective at both close-range and mid-range fights, and if released in a more permanent way could challenge the Mac-10's dominance over the Warzone SMG meta.

Warzone also received two new Cold War weapons with the new season: the FARA 83 assault rifle and the LC10 SMG. Those weapons are available in Loadout Drops. You can unlock the FARA 83 at Tier 17 of the Season 2 battlepass and the LC10 SMG will be unlocked at Tier 31 of the battlepass.
