Flame has retired from professional League of Legends.

On Dec. 13, Lee “Flame” Ho-jong announced his retirement through his stream, concluding his 9-year career. Flame debuted in Azubu Entus in 2012 and served as the ace of CJ Entus Blaze. He was one of the best top laners in the LCK.

Throughout his career, Flame was active in the LCK, LPL, and LCS. Since his debut in Azubu Entus (CJ Entus), he played in LGD Gaming, Incredible Miracle, Longzhu Gaming, Immortals, FlyQuest, and DAMWON Gaming.

Flame hadn’t played much since his return to the LCK in 2019, but he kept the team’s balance when Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon’s performance was unsteady, and helped the team throughout the 2020 season.

After his retirement, Flame will continue to communicate with fans through streaming.
