NVIDIA unveils the ultimate VGA, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

NVIDIA has revealed its brand new VGA, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, at the GDC 2017.

Jen-Hsun Huang, co-founder and president at NVIDIA, explained at the conference that “ theGTX 1080 Ti is 35% faster than the GTX 1080 and is superior to the GTX TITAN X.” The GTX 1080 Ti is equipped with 3,584 CUDA cores and an 11G GDDR5X memory that works at the speed of 11Gbps.

However, it is very unlikely that the GTX 1080 Ti is far superior compared to the GTX TITAN X. The TITAN X is armed with a 384-bit memory interface and a 12G memory, while the GTX 1080 Ti has 352-bit memory interface and 11G memory. Nevertheless, the GTX 1080 Ti will provide gamers with a better gaming environment with a faster GPU clock and memory speed.

The tests have also proven that the GTX 1080 Ti could be the best graphics card for gaming. It was able to maintain 66 degree celsius even when it was overclocked with 2GHz.

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is already in production for consumer sales. The price will be $699 and it will be sold worldwide starting on March 10th. More great news regarding the NVIDIA GeForce series is that the GTX 1080, the previous model, will now be sold at $499, which is $100 lower than the original price.
