Changes coming to Pokémon GO along with 2nd Generation Pokémon

Niantic has released 80 new Pokémon, along with other changes, in this week’s big update. One of the major changes after the update was the change to Moves, with the power and required energy for Moves undergoing especially notable alteration. For example, Hydro Pump and Solarbeam are now much stronger than before, and Aqua Tail is not only much stronger, but also requires less energy to use.


It seems like there will be a big change in Battles as well. Now that Hydro Pump is much more powerful, fans are ready to try out their Water type Pokémon in Battle.


Other changes with Moves include changes to Quick Moves. However, whether the duration of Moves has changed or not is still unclear, and it is too early to tell whether a specific Move has been nerfed or buffed.
