The LCS has partnered with Bud Light to serve the league's official beer

Coming Saturday, the LCS' 2020 Spring Split will commence. After format changes were announced two weeks ago, the ten competing teams are at the brink of displaying their skills for the fans. And this year those fans, if of legal age, will have something extra to enjoy while cheering on their team: Bud Light is the official beer partner of the LCS for 2020, the LCS announced.

During the regular season and at the Split Finals, Bud Light will be served from mobile bars and in beer gardens. It's not just beverages that Bud Light provides for the LCS, however. They're also sponsoring viewing parties, and highlight monumental League of Legends moments in a segment called "Ace Moments." Bud Light will also be involved in League of Legends Twitch shows: After the Monday Night League has concluded, a new post-show will air. On Bud Light's own channel an "after hours" show will be hosted featuring talent and special guests. More details on both shows are to follow soon.

Last week the LCS announced that it had expanded its partnership with Mastercard, and had brought GreenPark Sports in as a new partner. Bud Light isn't unfamiliar with esports: in April 2019, the Overwatch League announced that Bud would provide the official beer of the competition for the remainder of its then ongoing second season.
