SOOP will host the 'SOOP LoL Invitational,' a global esports event featuring professional League of Legends teams from Korea and abroad, on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27.

The 'SOOP LoL Invitational' is part of SOOP's 'Cross Regional' content series, designed to foster interaction and competition between domestic and international participants. Since last year, SOOP has showcased Cross Regional content across various titles, including Teamfight Tactics (TFT), Overwatch, and League of Legends; this tournament marks an expansion into a professional team-based format.
The tournament will feature Korean teams (Team KR): DN SOOPers (DNS), Dplus KIA (DK), and KIWOOM DRX (KRX). Representing the global side (Team AMER) are North American LCS teams Cloud9 (C9) and FlyQuest (FLY), along with the Brazilian team LOS. Fans will be able to watch players from different regional leagues face off against global teams.
The tournament will follow a cross-group round-robin format where Team KR and Team AMER compete. Each Korean team will play against each global team once, for a total of nine matches.
The matches will be held on Friday, June 26, starting at 6:00 PM with five matches, followed by four matches on Saturday, June 27, starting at 6:00 PM. All matches will be played in a best-of-one (Bo1) format.
The broadcast will be hosted by caster Kim Su-bin, with commentary provided by Kuro (Lee Seo-haeng) and GimGoon (Kim Han-saem). Drawing on their extensive experience as former professional players, Kuro and GimGoon will provide diverse insights into both the Korean and global leagues.
SOOP will handle the exclusive Korean-language live broadcast and production. For global viewers, the company will also provide exclusive co-streaming in English and Chinese (Taiwan).
