Daewon Media officially released physical editions of 'Solarpunk', a survival crafting game developed by Cyberwave, in Korea on October 1 for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 (hereinafter PS5). Both versions support Korean language and online co-op play for up to four players.
'Solarpunk' is a game set on floating islands where nature and technology coexist, allowing players to build their own home base. Players can gather resources to construct houses, decorate their space with furniture and props, grow crops, and craft necessary tools.
It also features exploration elements, allowing players to travel between islands using custom-built airships to discover new areas and resources. The airships can be customized according to player preferences.
In an energy system that utilizes solar and wind power, players must produce and store electricity while considering power generation output based on weather conditions. Utilizing transport drones and various devices allows players to automate tasks such as resource gathering and crop watering, reducing repetitive labor.
The game also provides a farm life experience where players care for animals and cultivate fruits and vegetables. Players can play solo or team up online with up to four players to build bases and explore islands together.
The Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5 physical editions are rated for all ages. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is provided as a game cartridge rather than a game key card.
