Dplus KIA escaped from the depths of a long losing streak. After a 0-3 defeat against kt Rolster and falling behind 0-2 in today's match against BFX, DK was pushed to the brink of elimination by consecutive losses, but they kept their hopes alive with a victory in Game 3.

DK capitalized on a moment when 'Kellin''s Shen was away from lane to catch 'Taeyoon''s Jhin. Since Jhin was eliminated despite using all of his Summoner Spells, it was a heavy blow. DK's 'Smash' on Ashe then took down 'Raptor''s Cho'Gath in the enemy jungle, scoring his second kill on Ashe. With DK leading not only in the bottom laning phase but also in top lane where 'Siwoo''s Ambessa held the advantage against 'Clear''s Olaf, momentum heavily favored DK.

Finding themselves on the back foot, BFX achieved a breakthrough by picking off 'Lucid''s Wukong in the river, but DK won the immediate follow-up fight, widening the gold gap even further. Even in a situation where they could have easily crumbled, BFX managed to stay within reach by securing trades bit by bit, taking down Ambessa in top lane and subsequently winning a teamfight in mid. However, while BFX was eliminating Ambessa in the bottom lane, DK caught Cho'Gath in mid lane and successfully secured Baron.

Despite DK holding the Baron buff, BFX created a favorable fight setup when DK aimed for the tier-2 bottom turret, winning the teamfight. Shortly after, in a 4v4 Dragon teamfight where DK was missing their top laner and BFX was missing their jungler, DK secured the Dragon Soul by slaying the Dragon and won the fight as well. With only the newly respawned Cho'Gath remaining for the opponent, DK pushed straight through to destroy BFX's Nexus, claiming a valuable first victory after two losses.
