On the 3rd, in Game 1 of the '2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK)' Playoffs between BNK FearX and Dplus KIA at Chzzk LoL Park in Jongno, BNK FearX took the first victory by outperforming their opponent in teamfights and skirmishes.

BFX secured first blood. 'Raptor' on Pantheon intervened to take down 'Smash''s Xayah. Afterward, a major fight broke out in the top lane. An extended battle ensued as mid laners and junglers joined from both sides, with DK coming out slightly ahead. However, in a fight near Rift Herald, BFX gained a massive advantage by eliminating 'Lucid''s Lee Sin and 'ShowMaker''s Syndra simultaneously while securing the Rift Herald.

Although the gold difference was small, overall control had shifted slightly toward BFX. Capitalizing on this, BFX stacked three dragons first. DK also showed strong moves. They picked off 'VicLa''s Viktor in the top lane and, during the next dragon timing, pushed BFX back to take the dragon. As the game timer surpassed 30 minutes, the contests around Dragon and Baron became increasingly critical.

With everyone alive, starting Baron was risky, so both teams carefully focused on farming until the next dragon. BFX took control of vision in DK's blue-side jungle first to prepare for the dragon, pressuring mid lane to force out all of Xayah's Summoner Spells. Shortly after, BFX pushed DK back in a mid-lane skirmish, but DK prevailed in front of the dragon pit, taking down their opponents to secure their third dragon stack and tie it at 3-3.

However, BFX caught Syndra in mid lane and took down Baron. In the final teamfight, BFX completely overwhelmed DK to take Game 1—the most critical game in a Bo5 series.
