The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to Diablo IV.
On Wednesday, August 26, CD Projekt Red and Blizzard announced a collaboration between Diablo IV and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at Gamescom 2026. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered (hereinafter Witcher 3 Remastered), releasing on September 29, will launch on Blizzard's gaming platform, Battle.net.
To celebrate the Battle.net release of Witcher 3 Remastered, players who pre-order the title or purchase the expansion after launch will receive a Geralt-themed skin usable in Diablo IV.
Witcher 3 Remastered includes the previously released expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. It features various enhancements, including improved graphics and combat, movement and locomotion polish, new Witcher sign effects, revamped mount controls, and reworked monster behaviors. The skill tree has also been revamped, and a slew of quality-of-life features will be added, such as transmogrification to alter equipment appearances.
Along with the collaboration announcement, details regarding a new expansion set for release in 2027, Songs of the Past, were also revealed. Set in an all-new region called Letten, players will fight against never-before-seen enemies.
More details regarding the crossover between the two franchises will be revealed at BlizzCon, scheduled for Saturday, September 13, and Witcher 3 Remastered is currently available for pre-order on Battle.net.
