On August 27, Clouded Leopard Entertainment released a demo for the 2D side-scrolling action game 'GOBBLE' on the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store. Supported platforms are Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PS5.

In the demo, players can play a total of three stages, from the beginning of the game up to right before the first boss, for about 30 minutes. Save data from the demo can be carried over to the full game upon its official release.

In the first stage, 'Hungry Monster', the journey of protagonist Root and the self-proclaimed strongest monster Birdnut begins. Players can learn basic controls such as devouring enemies to restore health and combining jumps with dodges. In 'Swaying Flame', players can utilize the trait skill 'Flame' obtained through devouring to burn down wooden blocks and blocked paths. In 'Frantic Corridor', players must dodge obstacles falling from overhead while searching for hidden traits.

On PS5, a Collector's Box containing only the digital artbook and digital soundtrack is also available for purchase. The digital artbook features a special comic, character introductions, and in-game illustrations, while the digital soundtrack includes 15 BGM tracks composed by Kazuya Takasu and a_hisa.

'GOBBLE' follows the story of Root, a boy separated from his family, who borrows the power of Birdnut to head for the surface. Players can defeat enemies and devour them to steal their abilities, using them to overcome stage mechanics. The game is single-player and rated 12+. It supports Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese subtitles, with English subtitles scheduled to be added via a future patch.
