Vision Strikers 102-series lossless streak comes to an end

After over a year of competing in VALORANT without losing a single series, the Korean VALORANT organization Vision Strikers finally lost a match to F4Q on Thursday. The team went on a 102-series winning streak before they picked up their first loss, though they also registered four ties during their lossless streak. They lost their first match in a group stage match and are currently 1-1 in the VCT Korea Stage 2 Challengers tournament.

The Vision Strikers lossless streak is the longest esports team winning streak on record and puts them into the record books alongside some other notable names. Ninjas in Pyjamas have the longest map streak on record, with an 87-0 CS:GO map win streak that ended in 2013. The longest esports solo win streak in esports history is held by Gonzalo "ZeRo" Barrios, who won 53 consecutive Super Smash Brothers tournaments between 2014 and 2015.

Following their first loss, the Vision Strikers' current record is now 102-4-1. While the lossless streak may have ended, they are still the unchallenged best VALORANT team in Korea, having won every major event that they have competed in, including the Riot run Korea Stage 1 Masters and First Strike Korea. They are now hoping to snag Korea's only seed at the Masters Reykjavik LAN which is taking place in May.
