NEXUS Partners With HoloStudio to Bring AI-Web3 Card Game Elememetal to CROSS

NEXUS (CEO Chang Hyun-guk) announced on the 18th that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with HoloStudio (CEO Park Sung-chul), an AI- and Web3-based content developer.

HoloStudio is the company behind the AI creation platform PlayArts, and it has proven its technical capabilities by taking first place in the global Web3 developer competition Seedify Hackathon. Through this agreement, the two companies will move forward with onboarding HoloStudio’s flagship project, Elememetal, onto the CROSS platform.

Elememetal is a strategic PvP card game built around an elemental system. Its defining feature is an AI-based user-generated content (UGC) system that allows players to create card skins themselves by entering text prompts. Once created, these card skins are immediately registered as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and can be traded on the marketplace. In particular, the companies plan to use NEXUS’s game economy infrastructure, CROSS Forge, to build out Elememetal’s tokenomics and further advance the game’s content.

CROSS Forge is an economic infrastructure solution that enables game developers to issue tokens easily without requiring specialized blockchain expertise. Through it, developers can handle token issuance more simply, provide initial liquidity, and gauge game performance through market response.

Beginning with this agreement, the two sides also plan to expand their partnership to include HoloStudio’s next MMO project currently in development, The Planet. Park Sung-chul, CEO of HoloStudio, said, “Games are now evolving beyond play alone and toward a future in which users become creators of content. Through our partnership with NEXUS, we will expand to the global market the experience of owning AI-created content as blockchain-based assets.”

Chang Hyun-guk, CEO of NEXUS, said, “The game chain CROSS is an open platform that continuously onboards high-quality games. CROSS Forge, built on proven, user-based tokenomics, will help games successfully establish themselves."
