Respawn Upon Death? PUBG's Newest Game Mode, "War Mode"

On the 13th of April, Bluehole announced that a new game mode, "War mode" will be released for PLAYUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS.

War mode will be similar to the classic "deathmatch", where multiple players will be pitted against each other, continuously, in a small area. In this mode, you'll be given a primary weapon at the beginning of a game -- allowing you to play more aggressively from the start. In addition, you'll respawn upon death, making for quite a different experience from classic.

War mode will be played with the weather locked at "sunny," and with 30 players in 3 groups of 10. For faster and more aggressive progress, upon death, players will respawn after a short delay in a plane, being granted either an AR or DMR as a primary weapon, 1 pistol, level 1 vest and helmet, and even a grenade.

The objective of the game is not only to survive but to reach a certain goal -- the first team to reach 200 points wins. Upon taking a kill, you're given 3 points, while DBNO and Revive grants 1. But you have to be aware that team DBNO and team kills subtract 5 points from your score. This means that you'll need to be more coordinated with your team. However, if no teams meet the goal of 200 points within the first 15 minutes, the team with the highest score automatically wins the game.

This event mode will take place from the 13th of April to the 16th. We've also confirmed that you can invite friends to create a premade 10-man team.
