kt Rolster defeated Dplus KIA 3-2 to extend their winning streak to five. DK, riding high after their recent victory over Gen.G, employed a high-risk, tightrope playstyle rarely seen in the LCK—reminiscent of G2 Esports—but kt Rolster kept their composure to ultimately claim the series.

In Game 1, DK's 'Lucid' attempted an early gank with Jarvan, but KT neutralized it well. Though Jarvan's presence seemed briefly ineffective, he waited and targeted the bottom lane again, allowing 'Smash's' Kai'Sa to pick up a double kill. 'Kellin's' Nautilus then landed a precise hook, predicting the timing of 'Aiming's' Ezreal Arcane Shift to secure another kill.
Perhaps emboldened by his three kills, 'Smash's' Kai'Sa tried to take on Ezreal alone but was caught by 'Cuzz's' Wukong. Despite this, DK held the initiative. kt Rolster successfully targeted 'ShowMaker's' isolated Orianna, but Ezreal fell quickly, and DK won the ensuing skirmish to secure Baron.
DK comfortably secured the Baron and the Dragon Soul, leaving no room for their opponents. They moved as a cohesive unit to win the final teamfight and destroyed kt Rolster's Nexus at 31 minutes.
Early in Game 2, DK invaded the enemy Raptor camp at level 1 to target 'Bdd's' Hwei, but kt Rolster's nearby teammates responded immediately, turning the fight around to take down Annie and Pyke. After also catching 'Smash's' Ziggs in the bottom lane, kt Rolster enjoyed a very favorable start.
DK continued to look for plays and pick up kills, but they gave up a double kill while overextending to catch 'PerfecT's' Yorick in the top lane. They also tried to target Hwei in the mid lane, but 'Cuzz's' Xin Zhao responded quickly. The game flow became straightforward: DK's Lee Sin and Pyke roamed the top side to create variables, while kt Rolster's Xin Zhao and Seraphine shadowed their movements.
Considering the early setbacks, DK performed admirably, but kt Rolster was equally resilient, and 'PerfecT's' Yorick began to scale and make an impact. kt Rolster gained small advantages in skirmishes and stacked three dragons. While the gold difference was negligible, kt Rolster held the more stable composition, favoring them as the game progressed.
DK picked off Seraphine and Xin Zhao before heading to Baron. However, a well-fed Yorick held the line, allowing kt Rolster to push the opponents back and secure the Baron. Even after kt Rolster took the Dragon Soul, DK continued their chaotic playstyle to maintain a gold lead. Even when behind after Annie was caught in the top lane, they disrupted the side lanes to prevent kt Rolster from capitalizing on Baron.
Ultimately, however, kt Rolster adapted to DK's signature tightrope style, managing their positioning to counter DK's macro play and tying the series 1-1.
In Game 3, DK controlled the early flow. 'Siwoo's' top lane Varus secured two kills on 'PerfecT's' Naafiri and added another in the bottom lane. With Varus scaling and the presence of Twisted Fate in the mid lane, DK already looked stronger in the side lanes.
DK's macro play gave them an advantage, widening the gold gap to 5,000 by the 16-minute mark. However, kt Rolster managed to catch the previously deathless Varus and Twisted Fate in the bottom lane. kt Rolster fought back, winning two consecutive teamfights to narrow the gold gap to 3,000 and stack three dragons.
kt Rolster then secured a Baron after a hidden Naafiri caught Aphelios by surprise. As both teams traded major objectives, kt Rolster took the Dragon Soul while DK took the Baron. In the final teamfight, kt Rolster calmly initiated, wiped out the opposition, and secured their 5th consecutive win.
