Nexon announced today (the 23rd) that it will terminate service for its casual online TPS 'Bubble Fighter' on June 24.

As the third title in the Crazy Park IP, following 'Crazy Arcade' and 'KARTRIDER', 'Bubble Fighter' featured casual graphics and a unique gameplay loop where players had to shoot enemies with water guns to trap them in bubbles before closing in to 'pop' them to score. While this distinct gameplay sustained the title for 17 years, Nexon explained that it decided to end service after determining that it could no longer provide a satisfactory experience given the current operating environment and conditions.

The company also outlined its refund policy and future plans. Effective after the regular maintenance on the 23rd, the in-game shop, 'Level Up Plus' events, and events for new or returning users will be discontinued. However, to ensure users can enjoy the game until the final day, Nexon is extending the 'Free Day' event and providing additional benefits, including weapons, costumes, accessories, and characters.

Refunds will be issued for all paid items purchased between February 22 and April 23. Items bought with Nexon Cash will be refunded via the original payment method, regardless of whether they have been used. Refund requests can be submitted through the notice page until July 29, and refunds will be processed sequentially in the form of Nexon Cash starting in mid-August.
