Pearl Abyss released a renewal update for Black Desert's 'Altar of Blood' today (the 15th).
'Altar of Blood' is a defense-style mode where a party of three players must protect a relic. To enhance the challenge for adventurers, the content has been expanded to 21 stages. Additional stages will be unlocked based on the players' attack power, and the maximum attack power cap has been removed, allowing for faster monster elimination.
Adventurers who clear the 'Altar of Blood' will receive rewards such as ▲Brilliant Origin of Predation and ▲Advice of Valks. Weekly rewards include ▲Gold Bars, ▲Caphras Stones, and ▲Black Stones.
An update improving trade content was also implemented. Adventurers can now earn greater profits through newly added Tier 6 and 7 trades. New barter regions for 'Crow Coins' have been added, and the benefits of 'Sudden Barter' have been enhanced.
Following the successful conclusion of its first term, Black Desert's 'Olvia Academy' has begun recruiting for its second term. The 'Olvia Academy' is a growth-support program designed to help novice adventurers learn various game mechanics and earn rewards. The second term will run from April 15 to July 15.
Meanwhile, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Black Desert's service in North America and Europe, the company will host a Voice of Adventurers (VOA) event for European players in Spain on March 1, followed by the 'Heidel Ball' adventurer event in California, USA, on July 26. The Heidel Ball will be broadcast live to a global audience.
