The Overwatch League returns this weekend with exciting Week 20 gameplay, the second of three weekends of qualification matches for the upcoming Summer Showdown tournament. The competition begins in North America at 12 pm PDT on Saturday, June 20. Catch the action on the Overwatch League YouTube channelwebsite, and app.

Saturday, June 20, 12 pm PDT – San Francisco Shock (11-2) vs. Paris Eternal (9-6)

Back in action for the first time since their May Melee tournament triumph, the San Francisco Shock are poised to defend their tournament title. San Francisco has remained a force to be reckoned with this season after being crowned 2019 Grand Finals champions and feature a deeply talented and synergetic roster. Coming off a close win against the Boston Uprising last week, the Paris Eternal will seek to hold their own against the Shock. Rookie phenom Yeong-han "Sp9rk1e" Kim and former All-Star Terence “SoOn” Tarlier will aim to keep Paris on the rise by upsetting the Shock.

Sunday, June 21, 2 pm PDT – Florida Mayhem (10-5) vs. Los Angeles Valiant (7-7)

Facing off for the first time this season, the Florida Mayhem and Los Angeles Valiant are two teams that have outperformed expectations in 2020. Currently ranked fifth in the overall standings, Florida has proven to be one of the fastest rising teams in OWL and are looking to improve upon a second-place finish in the May Melee tournament. The LA Valiant, featuring a young but talented roster, are led by top-tier damage players Kai “KSP” Collins and Johannes “Shax” Nielsen. Expect an explosive and entertaining match between two teams fighting to come out on top going into the Summer Showdown.
