Finalists selected for 'SELECTED INDIE 80' will receive various forms of practical support, including exhibition assistance provided by the sponsoring companies.
Tokyo Game Show aims to continue providing a stage for indie game developers to reach new heights and to further revitalize the domestic and international gaming industries. CESA is also continuously seeking additional companies that support the mission of these indie developer initiatives to join the project.
This indie game developer support project is aimed at individual developers and small studios. There are no restrictions on eligibility regarding nationality, age, or profession, provided that the basic requirements of the project are met.
Selected entries will be granted the opportunity to exhibit for free in the 'Indie Game Area' at the Tokyo Game Show with the support of the sponsoring companies.
The project aims to showcase works to the global market that embody the passion of their developers—featuring the originality, fresh sensibilities, and novel ideas that are often difficult to realize in large studios. Furthermore, the project plans to build a stage where the next generation of creators can fully showcase their talents and unlock new possibilities.
