NEXUS and Playwith Korea to launch Seal M on CROSS globally on March 19th

NEXUS and Playwith Korea have announced the global launch of Seal M on CROSS, a mobile MMORPG built on the CROSS on-chain gaming platform, scheduled for March 19th.

According to an announcement, the title integrates the full-stack ecosystem of the CROSS on-chain platform, enabling in-game activities to connect with blockchain-based systems designed to create additional value through gameplay.

Seal M on CROSS is based on the long-running MMORPG Seal Online. The mobile version recreates the original game’s cartoon-style graphics and combo-based combat system while introducing new features tied to the CROSS ecosystem.

‘Journey’s and Invitation’ event announced

Alongside the launch, NEXUS and Playwith Korea revealed a new initiative titled ‘Journey’s and Invitation’, which will take place in selected regions.

According to the announcement, the event is designed to allow existing Seal M players to transition into the new on-chain ecosystem while retaining progress made through gameplay.

Players participating in the event will earn points based on their in-game activity. These points can then be used in Seal M on CROSS to obtain items intended to support progression, including pets and costume summon tickets.

According to the announcement, the initiative aims to link existing player activity with the new platform’s systems and encourage continuity between the original mobile title and the upcoming blockchain-integrated version.

Pre-registrations surpass 1.5m

Ahead of its global release, Seal M on CROSS has already recorded more than 1.5m pre-registrations, according to the announcement.

Further information about the game and its upcoming launch is available through its official website and social media channels, including its account on X (formerly Twitter).

The upcoming launch marks another step in the continued development of blockchain-enabled games, as publishers increasingly experiment with systems that connect gameplay progression with digital asset ecosystems.
