Riot Games announced that the 2020 Season of the LCS and Academy will be expanding their weekly match schedules, with LCS starting on January 25 and Academy on January 24.
Dignitas fills in their final Academy spot, signing former IMT, TL, and GG support, Olleh. This completes the DIG Academy squad with 5 former LCS veterans, giving them a stacked roster and a lot of places for substitutions and swap-outs for the LCS.
After visa issues with their previous Academy top lane signing, Rodov, Dignitas has signed former LCS top laner, Lourlo. Dignitas is now only lacking a support player for their Academy roster, boasting four veterans on the Academy so far.
Evil Geniuses has announced their Academy bot lane, signing support, Matt, and ADC, Deftly. The two are former GGS teammates, and will likely be a strong point in the new EG Academy roster, opening up potential for young talent elsewhere. Read more here:
