On Day 1 of the 2019 All-Star Event, Clid came in 4th in his group in the Teamfight Tactics event and secured a spot in the finals. In an interview with translator Park Jeesun, he shared some thoughts.

“I’m honored to be picked at such an event. I’m happy and will be enjoying it until I go back,” said Clid. “This is my first time in the US. Everything I see is new and I get fluttered wherever I go.” Coming in 4th in the group for Teamfight Tactics, Clid told he didn’t play that much Teamfight Tactics. “I just played a little during vacation. I got lucky today.”

Clid recently moved to Gen.G. At this All-Star Event, there are other former Gen.G players such as Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in, Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, and Kang “Ambition” Chan-yong. “I didn’t get much advice - I heard that the food is really great. The coaching staff has been around for long so they’re very nice.”

Lastly, he spoke about how he’ll do in the 5v5 against LPL on day 2. “I heard I have to lane against TheShy. Frankly, I don’t think I can win that in any way. I’ll try to go at least half-half.”
