Lee “Duke” Ho-seong announced through his Weibo that he will be leaving Invictus Gaming.

Duke debuted in kt Rolster Bullets. He later played in Najin Black Sword, Najin e-mFire, SK Telecom T1, and joined iG in 2017. In 2016 and 2018, Duke won the World Championship in two different teams.

In his Weibo, Duke said, “Although we had good results last year, it wasn’t that satisfying for my teammates and me. It’s also very regretful for me not being able to play a game at this Worlds. It’s been three years already since I joined iG. I was able to adapt to life in China well thanks to the office. I’d also like to thank the fans that cheered for me. It was a big motivation as a pro gamer. After this Worlds is over, I will be leaving iG. I was very happy during my time in iG, and the past three years will be remembered as a beautiful memory. Wherever I go, please send many cheers to me and iG.”
