GGS Froggen: "TSM, C9, and TL are the top 3, so it's important for us to take wins against the rest of the teams."

After one day of the 2019 LCS Summer Split, Golden Guardians has more wins than its first two weeks of spring.  Drafting an aggressive composition featuring Henrik "Froggen" Hansen on Irelia, GGS steamrolled Echo Fox in its first game of the season. The aggressive play was a welcome sight from Golden Guardians, who were often criticized during the Spring Split for its steadfast affinity for scaling, control-style solo lane champions.

Froggen caught up with Inven Global's Nick Geracie after the match to talk about defeating Echo Fox, his Irelia performance, and the importance of GGS securing expected wins againts teams outside of Team Liquid, Cloud9, and TSM.
