Marin, once considered the best top laner in the World, has Announced his Retirement

Marin, obtaining the World Championship MVP title in 2015 and creating an era around him, has announced his official retirement through his stream.

Joining SKT T1 in 2013, Marin was able to win the World Championships in 2015 with his team. Although he decided to venture anew with LGD in China, Marin was unable to produce the results he had wanted. After, Marin moved back to Korea to debut again on Afreeca Freecs. Only a year after, he opted to go back to China. In November 2018, Marin was declared a free agent.

In the late hours of his stream on the 20th (January), Marin said "I have thought about it, and I think it will be difficult for me to continue my path as a pro. While I did get many offers to be a coach during my break period, I have no intentions of being a coach. I will spent the free time I have now to decide on what I am going to do if I’m not going to be a pro player."
