SKT Teddy on the Team's Performance: "It's definitely not a 10. Our performance was rather messy so I would give us a 5."

On the 25th of December (KST), SKT T1 defeated bbq Olivers 2:0 and advanced to the 2nd round of the 2018 KeSPA Cup.

With SKT delivering near-perfect performance in game 1, it seemed likely that they'd easily win the next set.  However, in game 2, bbq managed to perfectly counter SKT's aggressive plays. As a matter of fact, bbq Olivers was ahead in gold in the mid-late game. Still, SKT managed to win a huge fight near the 33-minute mark and closed down the game.

After the series, SKT T1's Teddy was interviewed.

This was your 2nd win in the KeSPA Cup as a member of SKT. What are your thoughts on today's victory?

The second game wasn't that smooth but it's a relief that we won.

Why was the second game so tough?

We would have won quite easily if we did what we had to do. However, we tried out some other things and made mistakes. This made it very hard for us to win.

In game 2, the last teamfight near the mid lane was fantastic! Can you explain what happened there?

The opponents were scattered; they seemed to move towards the Drake. I thought that Draven and  Thresh were far away from the team so we killed Thresh. Soon, their other deal champions came up to us so we were able to kill them as well. That's how it ended.

In the last match, your head coach gave a 6 and Zefa gave a 7. How many points would you give for today's match [from 0 to 10]?

It's definitely not a 10. If we won the second match a bit more smoothly I'd give more points but our performance was rather messy so I would give us a 5.

Do you have any words for the fans?

Thank you, everyone, for your support. I'll do better!
