SOOP will manage the LCK qualifiers for the Esports World Cup (EWC), a global tournament held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and provide live broadcasts of all matches.

The EWC is a club-based esports tournament, and these qualifiers serve as the final gateway for teams to secure a spot in the main event. In the League of Legends category, defending champion Gen.G Esports has already secured its place as an invited team, and two additional teams will earn their tickets to Riyadh through these qualifiers.

The qualifiers will take place over approximately three weeks, from May 4 to May 26. Matches on May 4, 5, 12, 18, and 19 will be held online, while the final matches on May 25 and 26 will be held offline at the SOOP Colosseum in Sangam. Details regarding ticket sales for in-person attendance will be announced separately at a later date.

SOOP, which is overseeing the production, operation, and transmission of the tournament, is establishing a multilingual broadcast environment for fans worldwide. The Korean broadcast will feature casters Chae Min-joon and Kim Gyu-hwan, alongside commentators Kim Dong-jun and Lee 'Prince' Chae-hwan. The English broadcast will feature casters Valdez, Atlus, and Dgon, with Wolf and Oks serving as commentators. The Korean broadcast will be provided as a dual-exclusive live stream, while the English, Traditional Chinese, and Vietnamese broadcasts will be exclusive live streams. In Vietnam, the tournament will be broadcast via the local partner platform 'On Live.'

In addition, SOOP will host various interactive events for viewers, such as Drops. The company aims to help domestic and international LCK fans enjoy the tournament from multiple perspectives and plans to enhance the quality of the tournament experience through its global live streaming services.
