BNK FEARX lost 0-2 to T1 in their 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Round 1 match, held on the 26th at T1's home ground, Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon. Despite showing flashes of brilliance, they ultimately fell to the carry performance of 'Keria' Ryu Min-seok.
Head Coach Park Jun-seok appeared visibly disappointed at the post-match press conference. He explained that the team had prepared extensively and that the atmosphere had been positive, making the loss in both sets all the more frustrating.
"We prepared a lot for the T1 match, and Aurelion Sol in the first set was one of those preparations," Park said. "The pick-ban phase went as intended, but we lost momentum after failing to secure the early dragon. Giving up that first dragon was the most regrettable part. It was also unfortunate that Ezreal was caught in the bot lane skirmish beforehand. If we hadn't lost that fight, I think we could have maintained control and won."
He identified the mid-to-late game teamfight losses as the reason for the defeat in the second set. "We won many skirmishes, and even though the bot lane matchup was difficult, we held on well and I thought we would win," he explained. "However, we didn't fight well in the mid-to-late game teamfights, which dragged the game out, and that final teamfight loss led to our defeat."
With only one match left in the first round, Park said, "The atmosphere during our recent preparation process hasn't been bad. Even so, there are times when we lose by a razor-thin margin. Often, things go according to the coaching staff's direction, but a single mistake leads to a loss. We are working on these improvements, and I believe we will get better as we keep at it."
He also made sure to encourage his players. "The first round isn't even over yet, and there are many games left," Park said. "The players know their own potential. If they approach the next games with the mindset to do better, I believe they will improve. I hope they never give up, keep working hard, and achieve good results."
