JOYCITY (CEO Cho Seong-won) announced on the 13th that it will conduct a final test for the historical Korean MMORPG 'Imjin War: Joseon's Counterattack,' developed by Red Zingo Games (CEO Park Su-yong), an affiliate of NDREAM, ahead of its official launch.

The final test will run for five days, from April 13 to 11:00 AM on April 17. Participation is open to everyone without a cap on the number of players, who can join by downloading the game from the official website.

JOYCITY plans to use this test to conduct a final check on server stability and enhance the service's overall quality based on user feedback.

'Imjin War: Joseon's Counterattack' is the latest title from director Kim Tae-gon, known for 'Imjin-rok' and 'Gersang.' It features 'encounter battles' where players combine real-life heroes like Yi Sun-sin and Gwon Yul with historical weaponry such as the Hwacha and Daejanggun-jeon.

Players can control the movement and attacks of each hero in real-time and engage in various battlefields, including 'field sieges' where they cooperate with guild members to destroy gates and capture castles, as well as 'naval battles' commanding Joseon and Japanese ships.

The game also features an economic ecosystem modeled after real-world market environments, allowing players to craft items using materials obtained through hunting and gathering, and to invest in gathering sites to receive dividends.

During the test period, JOYCITY is offering players the chance to 'pre-register character names' that can be used after the official launch. Additionally, a review event is being held where participants can post their feedback on the Naver official Lounge for a chance to win prizes.
