Crownshot and SK Gaming provide great value for your E1 Fantasy roster

In order to win big in E1 Fantasy, you want to find VALUE! I’m not just talking about getting your money back, I’m talking about getting what you paid for AND some more. What is value? Well in a perfect world, the highest-priced player at a position would score the most points and so on down; they would all provide value based on their price.

We don’t want to be average though, we want more. So we are looking for the players who will score much higher than their price suggests, returning extra value. In order to help you find these value players, we provided two options at each of the six lineup spots; one for LCS and one for LEC (because everything is better with a little NA vs EU rivalry in there).

Top

Samson "Lourlo" Jackson — Dignitas — $150,000 (vs CLG & Golden Guardians)

After that last week, you no longer have to be ashamed to put a DIG player in your lineup. It is now 6 LCS games this split for Lourlo, and he has only failed to score 12 points once, despite going 2-4 in those games. Lourlo is happy to just be on Ornn tank duty, playing the Champ 4 of his 6 games. He doesn’t get Kills on the Champ, which caps his upside, but at $150k you should just be happy with the Assists he gives you. He just gave owners 20 of them last week!

Finn "Finn" Wiestål — Rogue — $260,000 (vs Excel & Schalke 04)

Loving Rogue is like the new hipster trend. Everybody claims they believed in them since Spring and are so proud. Well, those same people only want to praise Larssen and Vander, but what about Finn?? Finn leads all LEC Top Laners in Assists, Top 4 in Kill Participation, and is looking at a clean 2-0 week. We just need Rogue to put him on Gangplank as he already has 2 30+ point games on the Champ!

Jungle

Can "Closer" Çelik — Golden Guardians — $290,000 (vs Immortals & Dignitas)

Doublelift and Closer; the only LCS players to have a 12 Kill game in 2020. Closer also set the Jungler single-game record in the win over EG with 54.1 points. He is honestly that good. He doesn’t get as much attention as he is new to LCS and on a sub-.500 team, but he has already proven he is a Top 3 LCS Jungler and now has shown he can carry an entire team on his back for a game. Expect more of it as he gets easier opponents this week.

Joshua "Dardoch" Hartnett — Dignitas — $150,000 (vs CLG & Golden Guardians)

I honestly can’t find a LEC Jungler that I think is a great value, so I’m just going to talk about Dardoch again this week. He did more than return value last week, and after 4 straight 12+ point games, there is no reason you should expect it to stop against two teams without winning records. The price is absolutely right, and DIG has proven that they are happy to lean heavily on Dardoch. Sometimes the role is more important than talent.

Mid

Eugene "Pobelter" Park — CLG — $290,000 (vs Dignitas & Immortals)

Even though Pobelter’s true contributions to CLG can’t be measured in Fantasy Points, he has still been putting up good numbers for your lineup. In his last 9 games, he has only scored less than 12 points once, meanwhile, he has scored over 25 points 5 times in that stretch. This week he goes against Fenix and Insanity in lane. You know the savvy veteran that Pobelter is will have a way to exploit these two players that started the season on the bench.

Aljoša "Milica" Kovandžić — Team Vitality — $270,000 (vs Fnatic & SK Gaming)

Milica and a valid visa is a deadly combo. Although VIT has been a tough team to gauge as a whole, Milica has made his skill level very clear. He hasn’t scored less than 18 points in his last 4 games, a span that includes 2 losses. VIT revolves around Milica, as he and Caps are the only LEC Mids that are Top 2 at the position in both Kill Participation and Kill Share. He faces two teams on very cold streaks, which makes for amazing fantasy potential.

Bot

Victor "FBI" Huang — Golden Guardians — $330,000 (vs Immortals & Dignitas)

No Bot laner is more integral to their team’s success than FBI is to GG. This has become even more apparent with Damonte taking a step back in priority, only getting 1 Kill to 19 Assists over the weekend. Among LCS Bot Laners, FBI is 2nd in Kill Participation, 2nd in DPM, 3rd in DMG%, and 1st in GD and CSD @10. GG runs through FBI and wants him to lead the team in every category that he can. Now he is given the rare opportunity to face two teams below him in the standings in the same weekend. He won’t throw away his shot.

Juš "Crownshot" Marušič — SK Gaming — $270,000 (vs Schalke 04 & Team Vitality)

This is a risky pick, but one with a massive upside. SK has been real cold lately, limping into the break on a 3-game losing streak. However, we know that SK’s only chance of winning in by going through Crownshot. He averages 27.9 fantasy points in wins and is matched up against two teams with losing records. Each game could go either way, but it is those close games that produce the most fantasy points.

Support

Choi "huhi" Jae-hyun — Golden Guardians — $140,000 (vs Immortals & Dignitas)

He had 23 Assists in a game!! Although I definitely don’t expect to see another 35.4 point game from Huhi, I do expect him and lane-buddy FBI to outmatch the bottom two teams of the LCS. Even though Huhi has improved immensely as a Support, my vote for him is still more about my confidence in FBI. They are a cute couple.

Jakub "Jactroll" Skurzyński — Origen (but marked as Team Vitality) — $30,000 (vs Misfits & G2 Esports)

As you may have heard, Jactroll was traded from Vitality to Origen on Monday (RIGHT AFTER LINEUPS LOCKED…. but I digress). He went from the VIT bench to the OG starting lineup and now presents an opportunity for you to get a starting Support for $30k. I don’t trust his talent or OG’s current situation, but the price is just too incredible.

Team

Team Liquid — $290,000 (vs Evil Geniuses & 100 Thieves)

What a way to make a statement. Not only did TL cement their spot as the 2nd best team in the LCS, but the TL Team also set the Summer Split record for most points in a week with 68. Two straight wins that each included; 4 Dragons, 2 Barons, and 2 Rift Heralds. Dream Team setup right there.

SK Gaming — $250,000 (vs Schalke 04 & Team Vitality)

SK is one of two teams that go against two of the 6 best Team matchups this week. The same risk I explained with Crownshot is here, but you can look back at Week 1 for inspiration as SK Team led the position with a 62.00 week. The waters get very murky when scrolling below SK for options, so consider this as budget as you want to go.
