The first stage of the League of Legends European Masters event has concluded. After three days of competition, four League of Legends prodigy teams have advanced to the main stage. The victorious four are GamerLegion, eSuba, Defusekids, and K1ck Neosurf. They will join twelve already qualified teams at the EU Masters main event, which commences on April 22.

Both GamerLegion and eSuba, hailing from Germany and Czech Republic respectively, emerged from Group A in the Play-In stage.  GamerLegion dominantly defeated the Greek squad of Intrepid Fox Gaming in the Knockout Stage with a 2-0 victory. eSuba found a tough opponent in Italy's team Racoon, but clutched it out with a 2-1 score.

The Dutch roster of Defusekids left the Group Stage dominantly, dropping only one game. They met their Benelux friends in the knockout stage and had to fight tooth and nail to defeat their southern brethren. K1ck Neosurf had an equally as dominant Group Stage performance, but found a tough opponent in MAD Lions Madrid, the academy team of the LEC's MAD Lions. The fully Polish squad of K1ck weren't intimidated by their opponent's name, however, and rose to the occasion.

With the Play-In Stage of EU Masters concluded, the main event's groups can be drawn. The pools look as follows:
