SEGA will open its first permanent flagship store in Japan's Kansai region, 'SEGA STORE OSAKA,' on October 2 on the 6th floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO in Osaka.

SEGA STORE is operated as part of a strategy to expand SEGA's intellectual property (IP) beyond games into various media, including film, music, and manga. Following the opening of SEGA STORE Shanghai in May 2025, the company has been expanding its retail footprint, including the launch of its first Japanese flagship store, SEGA STORE TOKYO, in Shibuya this past July. The upcoming SEGA STORE OSAKA marks the brand's first permanent location in the Kansai region.
The store will feature a wide range of merchandise related to the various IPs SEGA has introduced over its 65-year history. A variety of popular IP goods will be available, including limited-edition items exclusive to the Osaka location.
The store is located on the 6th floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO, in the 'Pop Culture Shinsaibashi' zone, a space dedicated to experiencing Japanese pop culture. SEGA has integrated variable lighting systems and large, transparent double-sided LED displays to visually bring the worlds of its IPs to life within the store.
Ahead of the opening of 'SEGA STORE OSAKA,' Sega will launch a collaboration project titled '#SonicExperiencingOsakaCulture' on August 7, featuring Sonic exploring local culture. The content will showcase Sonic experiencing regional culture alongside iconic Osaka characters and organizations.
On August 7 at 7:30 PM, Sonic will experience Osaka-style cheering culture at the Meiji Yasuda J1 League Round 1 match between Gamba Osaka and Urawa Red Diamonds, held at Panasonic Stadium Suita in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, alongside Gamba Osaka mascot Mofurem. Admission to the match requires a paid ticket.
On August 8, Sonic will visit the Kansai TV filming studios and editing rooms in Kita-ku, Osaka, with Kansai TV mascot Hachiemon to experience the broadcast production process. This event is not open to the public.
Starting at 5:00 PM on September 18, Sonic will experience Osaka's food culture alongside TV Osaka mascot Takorukun at the Yatai Fes, a local food festival held at Taiyo no Hiroba in Osaka Castle Park. Admission to this event is free.
On September 25, Sonic will appear in the Yoshimoto Kogyo performance 'English Shinkigeki Night ~Sitcom~' at the Yoshimoto Dotonbori Theater in Chuo-ku, Osaka. The performance, which features Osaka-style comedy including manzai, will be conducted entirely in English. Doors open at 6:40 PM, and the show begins at 7:00 PM. A paid ticket is required for entry.
'SEGA STORE OSAKA' is located on the 6th floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO, at 1-8-3 Shinsaibashisuji, Chuo-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture. Operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, though these are subject to change.
