The release of the 'FlexStrike Wireless Fighting Stick,' the official PlayStation arcade stick, has been postponed.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced today (the 15th) via its official social media channels and the PlayStation Blog: "Due to unforeseen production issues, the launch of the FlexStrike Wireless Fighting Stick has been delayed. We will provide an update on the new release schedule at a later date." Regarding the delay, Vice President Isabelle Tomatis added, "We are working to enhance the product's quality to ensure we provide the best possible experience for players."
The FlexStrike Wireless Fighting Stick (hereinafter 'FlexStrike') is an arcade stick compatible with PC and PS5, first unveiled in June 2025. As the first 'official arcade stick controller' for the PS5, it garnered significant attention from gamers. While it was originally scheduled for release in Korea on August 7, this delay has left its launch date uncertain.
The FlexStrike package includes the arcade stick, a USB wireless receiver (dongle), a USB cable, three types of gate restrictors that allow for physical control of the joystick's range of motion, and a dedicated carrying case for secure storage. As an official first-party controller, it boasts fast response times even in wireless mode and features a low-noise design with switches that offer a quiet yet satisfying tactile impact.
Further details regarding the FlexStrike can be found on the official blog.
