'Princess Maker: Children of Prophecy,' the latest entry in the Princess Maker series, has received a massive content update following its move to the developer Gear Second.
The development team announced via their official blog that they have rolled out numerous content and minor updates. The most significant change is the extension of the in-game raising period to a total of eight years. While the previous Early Access version offered four years of gameplay, two romanceable characters, and around 20 endings, this update allows players to raise their daughter for a full eight years and discover a wider variety of endings.

With the full eight-year raising period now implemented, players can build relationships and secure futures with eight different characters. The schedule has also been expanded to include 10 types of studies, 15 types of activities, and 3 types of rest, along with 32 types of vacations that change according to the four seasons over the eight-year span.
New features such as diet and food management have been added, allowing players to manage their daughter's meals and visit restaurants to try various dishes. A total of 53 endings are now available, including 44 career endings and 9 relationship endings.
In addition, various previously lacking content has been added. Players can now enjoy 55 Destiny Cards, hidden stories revealed by collecting all gems, 3 exploration areas, 9 characters encountered at the Demon King's Castle, 3 harvest festivals, 1 banquet, over 40 dresses, various events and quests, and 29 BGM tracks.

The development team clarified on their blog that this update is part of the Early Access phase, not the official launch. They stated that they are continuing to refine the current version and remain committed to developing the game into a richer and more enjoyable experience.
The possibility of a release on other platforms was also mentioned. The team stated that they are prioritizing the completion of the game before reviewing the necessary procedures for a release on Nintendo Switch and other platforms. They are also considering adding voice acting and will provide updates once those plans are finalized.

The development team for "Children of Prophecy" stated, "We will continue to listen to your valuable feedback and inquiries, and we will do our best to make this a better game."
Meanwhile, 'Princess Maker: Children of Prophecy' faced an uncertain future during its Early Access phase due to issues with the previous developer, but it resumed development after signing a contract with the domestic developer Gear Second on December 31, 2025.
