The Siege War is almost here. The stage for the first siege will be three locations: Kent, Orc Fortress, and Windwood Castle. Each allows you to exert influence over different villages, and the combat mechanics vary slightly for each.
Let's check out the unique features of each castle and fortress, the conflicts of interest that arise, the process of capturing a castle, and the key points to watch.

■ How to Participate in Siege War and Basic Rules
Siege War takes place every Sunday from 20:00 to 21:00. To participate, the Clan Master must declare the Castle Siege in advance. If you meet the requirements—level 25 or higher, possessing a Clan mark, not currently in a Transformation, not currently occupying a castle, and not located inside an inner castle or Windwood Dungeon—you can type '/declare [Castle Name]' or '/war [Castle Name]' in the chat tab. You can also declare by speaking to the guards in each castle village.
During the Siege War, the castle and its surrounding areas become a Siege Zone. In this zone, there are no EXP or Item penalties for dying in PVP, allowing for free combat. However, be careful, as dying to a NPC will still result in penalties. Each castle has an outer gate and an inner gate; while the outer gate can be attacked outside of siege hours, the inner gate can only be attacked during the Siege War. Attacking gates causes Weapon damage, so you will need non-damaging weapons like a Damascus or a spear.
Once you break through the gates and enter the interior to destroy the 'Guardian Tower,' a crown will appear. The Clan Master who declared the siege can Loot this crown to become the new Lord, and all characters except for the Lord's Clan will be expelled from the castle. This process repeats until 21:00, when the Siege War ends; the Clan holding the crown at that time becomes the final Lord.
Once you become the Lord, you can collect the accumulated Castle Tax and adjust the tax rate between 0% and 30%. Increasing the tax rate raises the price of items sold in that village's Shop, and the difference is collected as tax for the Lord. The tax rate takes effect 4 hours after it is set. If the Lord changes, the remaining tax is reset; if the Lord remains, it carries over. Additionally, the Lord gains access to various features, including the Clan Stash, inner castle resurrection, and Clan Hall teleportation.

■ Kent Castle - Highest Tax Revenue (Jurisdiction: Gludin, Kent, Talking Island Village)
You can reach Kent Castle by heading slightly northeast from the village. Its proximity to the village makes it highly accessible.
Kent Castle is iconic as the site of the first-ever Siege War in the history of Lineage. Its jurisdiction includes Gludin, Kent, and Talking Island. Compared to the other two siege locations, it has a higher concentration of resident users, making it the most lucrative in terms of tax collection. In fact, the accumulated Castle Tax per server before the opening of the Siege War shows that Kent Castle's figures are significantly higher than the others.

■ Windwood Castle - The Only Inner Dungeon and Boss 'Veres' (Jurisdiction: Silver Knight Village, Woodbeck Village, Oasis)
Windwood Castle oversees Silver Knight, Woodbeck, and Oasis villages. It is significantly wider than Kent Castle, resulting in a much larger interior open space and a broader combat area.
While Windwood Castle falls short of Kent Castle in terms of tax revenue, it features the first-ever inner Dungeon. This Dungeon can be used to clear Chaos levels gained during combat or as a space for Level up.
Deep within the inner Dungeon, the powerful Boss Monster 'Veres' appears. Veres drops various high-value items, including spellbooks like Sun Burst, Eye of Storm, Disease, and Greater Heal, as well as Rare gems, Blessed Enchant scrolls, and Belts. Depending on the server, if top-tier Clans value the Dungeon more than Adena, Windwood Castle could become a more significant combat zone than Kent.

■ Orc Fortress - Relatively Weaker Competition (Jurisdiction: Firewood Village)
The Orc Fortress is located northwest of Firewood Village. It does not look like a 'castle' surrounded by stone walls, but rather like a Orc camp enclosed by wooden palisades.
Since its jurisdiction is limited to Firewood Village, it lacks in tax revenue compared to the other two castles and appears to be of a lower Grade. Therefore, it is expected to be a lower priority for the top Clans on the server. This makes it a potential land of opportunity for third-party forces to challenge. Of course, the accumulated tax is not negligible, so fierce combat is expected in the first Siege War, just as with the other two locations.
Note that various Monsters, such as Gandy Orc, Duda-Mara Orc, and Atuba Orc, roam inside the Orc Fortress, mixed in with Orc NPCs like guards. These Orcs have a faction recognition system, so if you attack a Monster, the surrounding NPC Orcs will also attack you. Of course, if you have the stats to challenge a Siege War, these level 20 Orcs will not be very threatening.
