Pawprint Studio announced on the 9th that its upcoming open-world monster-catching RPG, Aniimo, has surpassed 10 million global pre-registrations.

Since its reveal at major global gaming events last year, including Gamescom, Tokyo Game Show (TGS), and the Future Games Show, Aniimo has garnered significant attention from players worldwide. With the recent milestone of 10 million pre-registrations, it has firmly established itself as a highly anticipated title.

The core of Aniimo is the 'Twine' system, which allows players to form bonds with various creatures and literally become one with them to experience exploration and combat. A key feature is that players do not simply collect or accompany monsters; they can utilize the perspective and abilities of the Aniimo themselves to explore the open world.

This experience is further expanded through a real-time capture system. Players can capture Aniimo directly in the fields without transitioning to a separate battle screen, allowing for strategic gameplay where the outcome depends on the capture method and the creature's state. Furthermore, the game features a structure where capture and exploration are naturally linked, such as using each Aniimo's unique ability to solve puzzles or explore hidden areas.

The game also captures a distinct visual identity.
