The venue for the Nexon MapleStory summer showcase, 'OVERDRIVE,' has been changed to KINTEX in Ilsan.

On the 8th, Nexon announced via a notice that to ensure a smooth showcase, the event scheduled for the 13rd will be moved from the Seoul Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium to Hall 9 of KINTEX Exhibition Center II in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do. The event time (13rd at 4:00 PM) remains unchanged.

Nexon has also issued an apology for the sudden change and provided a reward plan. All users who attend the OVERDRIVE showcase in person will receive an additional 30k Nexon Cash after the update on the 18th. This is limited to those whose attendance is verified on-site; those who do not attend will not be eligible for the reward.

No additional ticket sales will be held due to the venue change. MapleStory stated that they plan to arrange new seating based on the original ticket reservations, but asked for understanding as it may be difficult to provide seats with conditions identical to the original bookings. The updated seating chart will be released on the showcase information page soon.

Ticket holders who wish to request a refund due to the venue change can receive a full refund without cancellation fees until 5:00 PM on the 11st. To qualify for the fee waiver, cancellations must be processed exclusively through the Ticketlink customer service center via phone or the 1:1 inquiry portal on their website.

MapleStory stated, "We ask for your kind understanding regarding the news of this venue change so close to the event," adding, "We will do our absolute best to prepare for the showcase so that our users have a great experience."
