Hound13 announced today (the 15th) that 'Dragonsword: Awakening', an open-world action RPG developed and published by the company, has reached 100,000 wishlists on Steam. This achievement was reached just five weeks after the Steam page was launched on April 10.
Hound13 stated that not only on Steam but also Discord members and X followers have surpassed 1,000 each, and expressed their intention to reciprocate this support. Along with this, they announced that a demo version will be released starting June 16, when Steam Next Fest begins. The demo will be available from June 16 to 23, and the exact times will be announced later via the Steam page. 'Dragon Sword: Awakening' is a game scheduled for re-release under self-publishing, transitioning from the original 'Dragon Sword' released through Webzen. It is transitioning from a live service model to a single-player package game, and characters will be acquired through in-game play rather than through gacha mechanics. At launch, 19 playable characters will be available, and new regions and characters added later will be sold as DLC.

'Dragon Sword: Awakening', which announced its appearance on Steam Next this coming June and release in July, has recently been revealing various information on YouTube and Discord, including the lineup of playable characters, trailers, and some refined character designs. On April 30, the updated modeling of the protagonist Lute was revealed via YouTube. Preparations for the re-release are underway, including the release of videos showcasing the action of each character—starting with Kalien and ending with the Onette trailer on the 14th—and the uploading of live streams featuring gameplay by the developers themselves. Detailed information about Dragon Sword: Awakening can be found on the Steam page. © Hound13
