Clouded Leopard Entertainment Inc. has announced that the Korean version of 'Trails in the Sky the 2nd'—the second full remake in the 'Trails' series, Nihon Falcom's flagship story RPG—will be released simultaneously worldwide on September 17, 2026.

The title will be available on various platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Steam. Following the events of its predecessor, 'Trails in the Sky the 1st,' this installment depicts the grand conclusion of the journey undertaken by bracers Estelle and Joshua.

Based on the original 'The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC (Second Chapter),' this remake has been fully reimagined with a modern sensibility. It features upgraded character graphics and enhanced event scenes with richer emotional expressions to increase player immersion.

The combat system inherits the strengths of the previous game, offering a seamless environment that allows players to switch between quick battles and Battle Command. With the addition of enhanced actions that highlight each character's unique traits, players can enjoy the epic story set across the Liberl Kingdom with even greater fluidity.

The narrative follows the pursuit of the truth behind the secret society 'Ouroboros,' which operated in the shadows of the Liberl Kingdom coup, and the whereabouts of Joshua, who vanished after leaving his harmonica behind. The core of the story centers on Estelle Bright, now a senior bracer, as she sets out to thwart the society's schemes and reunite with Joshua. The story is deepened by the appearance of formidable enemies like the society's Enforcers, Leonhardt and Weissmann, alongside compelling allies such as Anelace Elfead and Father Kevin Graham.

The limited edition 'Trails in the Sky the 2nd Ouroboros BOX,' launching alongside the standard edition, includes a variety of luxury items for fans. Housed in a custom case themed after the society, the box includes the game package or code, a memorial sound selection featuring an arranged version of the theme song 'Silver Will, Golden Wings,' a DLC costume set that transforms all party characters into 'Monster-Yang' style, a premium steelbook, and a Liberl Kingdom character encyclopedia containing information on approximately 500 NPCs.

Details regarding various purchase bonuses have also been revealed. First-run and pre-order bonuses include a download code for a high-resolution remaster of the original 'The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC.' Please note that the Steam version is excluded from this bonus, and the remastered version will feature Japanese audio and subtitles only. Additionally, users who possess clear data from 'Trails in the Sky the 1st' can obtain the 'Classic Style SC' costume as a save-data bonus, allowing them to change Estelle and Joshua's outfits to their original designs.
