In collaboration with TT Games and Warner Bros. Games, Inplay Interactive has released a video showcasing the Batcave, the central hub of 'LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.' The video highlights Batman's legendary headquarters, located beneath Wayne Manor.
Narrated by Jonathan Smith, Strategic Director at TT Games, the video focuses on the Batcave's role as the central hub for operations. It particularly emphasizes how the headquarters expands and evolves as players progress through the campaign, adding depth to the gameplay experience.
The interior of the Batcave serves as an exhibition space that offers a glimpse into Batman's long history. Players can store and view over 100 different costumes for Batman and his allies, ranging from the Golden Age suit worn during his 1939 debut to the latest outfit from the 2022 film 'The Batman.'
The dedicated garage system for vehicles is also a standout feature. Various iconic machines that have defined different eras—including the classic vehicle from the 1960s TV series, the gothic-style Batmobile from the 1989 film, and the Tumbler from The Dark Knight trilogy—have been meticulously recreated in LEGO bricks.
Additionally, players can use the Batcomputer to review case files, upgrade tools, and decorate the headquarters by displaying earned trophies. This new title is an open-world action-adventure game that follows Bruce Wayne's journey to becoming the hero of Gotham City, promising to deliver the signature humor of TT Games alongside a wealth of DC lore.
The PS5 physical version of 'LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight' is scheduled for official release on May 22, 2026.
