Red Bull’s off-season League of Legends showcase, League of Its Own, is returning for its third edition on Nov. 29, this time at Munich’s SAP Garden. The event, known for mixing traditional competition with unconventional formats, is set to feature a stacked lineup of teams and streamers for one of the year’s largest live esports spectacles.
The 11,500-seat SAP Garden, located in Munich’s Olympic Park, will host the one-day tournament. South Korean powerhouse T1, five-time world champions, will headline alongside European favorites including G2 Esports, Karmine Corp, NNO Old, and Los Ratones. Red Bull said fans can expect not only standard 5v5 matches, but also wildcard formats such as 1v1 duels, 2v2 battles, and mixed rosters.
Experimental Formats and Fan Experience
Unlike official league play, League of Its Own is designed to deliver unpredictable matchups and creative challenges. The event’s signature “Ultimate Fearless Draft” mode returns, which removes champions from the pool once picked, forcing deeper strategies and unusual team compositions.
Beyond gameplay, Red Bull is leaning into the live experience. A custom-built mid-lane will run through the audience, while local touches will add Bavarian flair to the staging and fan areas. Organizers expect about 10,000 fans in attendance.
For those watching online, official co-streams will be hosted by popular personalities including Marc “Caedrel” Lamont, Kameto, and Noway4u across Twitch and YouTube. Red Bull Gaming will also broadcast the main stream globally.
The event continues its tradition of brand partnerships, with AGON by AOC returning as monitor partner and MSI supplying gaming PCs and laptops. Razer joins as official chair partner, providing its Iskur V2 model, while KFC enters as a partner for the first time.
Following its previous stops in Berlin (2023) and Paris (2024), this year’s Munich edition is positioned as the showcase’s largest yet. With T1 in the lineup and a format designed to surprise, League of Its Own 2025 aims to be a highlight of the esports off-season calendar.
