Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-kyu) announced it will open a new world, “Kaf,” in its vampire-themed MMORPG Vampir on the 18th.

Following its August 26 launch, Vampir opened four worlds in roughly two weeks; buoyed by player support, it now plans to roll out the fifth new world, “Kaf.” “Kaf” is a regular world with no streamer-affiliated activity, and it is scheduled to open on Thursday, September 18 at 6:00 p.m. KST.

To commemorate the opening of “Kaf,” Netmarble will run a special event for players on that server. Over a 21-day attendance event, participants can claim generous rewards including a Rare Mount Summon Ticket, a Rare Form Summon Ticket, 4,000,000 Gold, and an Experience Serum, among others.

Launched on August 26, Vampir is a new MMORPG developed by key members of the team behind Lineage 2: Revolution, a title widely credited with elevating the standard of Korean mobile games. With its distinctive vampire concept and a dark-fantasy medieval setting, the game is available on both mobile and PC.

Notably, Vampir reached No. 1 in revenue on both major app marketplaces just nine days after launch and has maintained that position to date, while also surpassing 200,000 concurrent users—laying the groundwork for a sustained run.
