Netmarble today rolled out Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, an action-adventure role-playing game officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and HBO, on iOS, Android, Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Windows Launcher. The launch spans the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania and the Middle East, with an Asian release window to be confirmed later this year.
Set during the latter half of the fourth season of HBO’s acclaimed saga, Kingsroad casts players as a newly anointed heir to House Tyre, a minor noble house in the North. Gamers choose from three bespoke classes—Knight, Sellsword or Assassin—each featuring distinct combat mechanics and skill trees that reward strategic play styles. The title’s class-based encounters are designed to mirror the multifaceted skirmishes familiar to series fans.
Drawing on George R. R. Martin’s source material, the game populates its world with legendary beasts. Drogon makes a return as a formidable Field Boss, while mythical creatures such as Ice Spiders, Stormhorn Unicorns, Ironbeak Griffins and Red Cockatrices appear in original battle scenarios for the first time.
Netmarble’s development team endeavored to faithfully recreate Westeros at monumental scale, blending iconic locales with fresh environments. Players can freely explore a seamless open world that spans from the sun-drenched gardens of Highgarden to the frigid ramparts of the Wall, encountering both well-known characters and novel storylines. Key regions on offer at launch include King’s Landing, Castle Black and the first expansions of Chapter 3—Storm’s End and Felwood—introduced alongside the Altar of Memories update, which adds a new Unicorn boss encounter.

Following a successful Early Access phase on Steam that debuted in late March, today’s release unlocks all previously previewed chapters and introduces new content, including intense boss fights and additional quest lines.
