BNK FEARX snapped their losing streak on the 9th with a 2-0 victory over Kiwoom DRX in the Rise Group of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held at LoL PARK in Jongno, Seoul. Head coach Park Jun-seok praised the team's performance, highlighting how they forced the opponent's movements with Nidalee in the first set and how they overcame a disadvantage in the second set through a decisive teamfight and disciplined macro play.

The following is the full transcript of the interview with Head Coach Park Jun-seok and 'Taeyoon' Kim Tae-yoon.

Q. You broke a two-game losing streak today. Let's start with your thoughts on the win.

Coach = I'm very relieved that we ended the two-game losing streak. In Game 1, picking Nidalee was great because it forced the opposing Camille to play around our movements. In Game 2, we were at a significant disadvantage in the early-to-mid game, but we turned it around with a teamfight and managed the game well to secure a slow, steady victory.

'Taeyoon': I feel the same way. I think we solidified our lead well in Game 1, but in Game 2, our bottom lane laning phase was a bit shaky compared to our original plan. Still, it feels more rewarding and satisfying because we won thanks to the team's collective effort.

Q. You chose Top Nidalee. What was the reasoning behind that pick.

Coach = Nidalee can seize the initiative against Jayce, and she can easily evade ganks from champions like Camille or Jarvan IV. In fact, she successfully dodged a gank in the top lane during the match. I think that kind of survivability and initiative are her strengths. We picked her with the intention of winning through lane priority across all three lanes.

Q. What did you discuss with the players after the losing streak, and what changes did you implement?

Coach = We felt we needed to adjust our champion tier list, so we reorganized our tiers during practice. We also focused on our late-game execution, as we realized that while our early-to-mid game macro is strong, we struggle to close out games.

Q. 'Taeyoon', looking back at the recent losing streak, what changes did you think were necessary?

'Taeyoon': While our team's interpretation of the meta and our pick-ban strategy were factors, we also had many discussions with the team about our in-game macro and how we communicate with each other.

Q. You face Kiwoom DRX again on the 13rd. Regardless of the result, what areas do you think need to be improved or developed to win the rematch?

Coach = Our preferred picks and in-game habits have been somewhat exposed, so I expect their head coach, Cho Jae-eup, to prepare counter-strategies targeting those tendencies. We need to prepare our pick-ban phase and gameplay with the expectation that they will try to exploit that.

Coach = I'm very relieved we won today. The players might have felt a bit discouraged during the two-game losing streak, so I'm very grateful they played well and secured the win. We will make sure to win the next match against Kiwoom DRX as well. Thank you.
